Larissa Ione Q&A
Krystle and I are a part of a Paranormal Romance group on Goodreads, and our board leaders worked ever so hard to get ahold of Ms.Ione for us! We are deeply grateful, and cannot wait! Ione will be answering our questions at approximately 7:00 pm tonight. I will update this article as soon as our answers are given! Our questions are as followed:
Sky: Hi there Ms.Ione! I’ve been looking forward to this for a while, it’s an honor to be able to chat with such a talented lady as yourself =) I only had one question today, a silly one. I love cuddling up in bed and reading, and most often my hubby is lying next to me, he doesn’t read at all, so I’ll be playful and read to him chapters from different books. I love to see his reaction to the things I’ve read him from this genre! I guess he never expects something like that could be “read”, rather than be “watched” haha
I guess I just wonder, with so many WELL described erotica scenes, and of, well, male member lengths, has your husband ever read or heard any chapters, scenes and such from your novels, and how does he react? Great approval on his side I hope =D
Larrisa: “Ha! My husband actually reads all of my books. He totally approves. Except he’s convinced that Wraith is based on him. *rolls eyes*
Sky: Larissa, that is wonderful news! Having a hubby that supports your writing is fantastic. That’s awesome he even see’s himself in your characters, whether he’s right or not lolol
Krystle: “I actually read “Pleasure Unbound” when I took my first plane ride (by myself), so you pretty much kept my mind at ease during that adventure. So a big THANKS for that 🙂 Like you I am a huge animal lover, which is why I groom dogs for a living and I love all of the pictures you put up on Facebook of your king shepherd “Hexe”. She’s gorgeous and seems to love life!
1. Do you ever dream up ideas for your books, then wake up and write those ideas down? When I read a book and really get into it I’ll dream about it for a few nights and sometimes wake up really emotional because it was so real.
2. With your dogs name being “hexe” which clearly goes with the style of your writing, are you ever going to use it any of your books as a character name?
I never wake up from dreams and write anything down. I should, but I don’t. I always hope that someday I’ll finally be smart enough to do that!
No Hexe characters in the near future, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be! *g*
Author of the following Series:
Goodies have been handed out to winners of five people, Looks like I have been chosen as one! We believe it is a signed copy of:
There are so many characters in this book, and I love the author’s ability to flow between the different dialogues of each character, and to maintain realistic emotions of each person while staying true to their age, the children, adults and droids. Mark Mackey has a wondrous imagination, superb grammar and editing skills, truly a piece of art.
Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Sky, and when I am not stuffing my nose in a book, I am most likely painting, sketching, singing, chatting with friends, spending time with my man, or playing an MMO. Hence, where Solai comes from. Close to the French meaning of Sun. (Sunny Sky, awesome, yeah? =oD ) I am a nerd in all directions!
But, if you couldn’t tell, my most favorite pastime is to read. I have helped several authors with book reviews posting where they request. So far, I have mostly posted reviews on Amazon.com and for Goodreads.com. I am even willing to post them here.
I am open for most editions, such as Kindle and by physical copy. Contact information for the stated options, will be given per request.
I work a lot of overtime sporadically, but easily make the time to read on my personal time at home and at work. I am a quick and fully engaged reader, and will give an honest review. I tend to keep my reviews fair yet positive.
Don’t be shy! I read all genres; I am most definitely not a picky reader. So if you are interested in having me review a book for you, or looking to produce giveaways, please contact me at Thebooknatics@Gmail.com.
Hello! And thank you for stopping by. =) I cannot wait to share with you my thoughts on different books I read. My friend and I have an awesome Facebook page where together, we share books from all sorts of genres, and will be soon recording live Hangout sessions to be broadcasted on Youtube. We are always looking for new people to join in on the fun! On these hangouts we will be doing all sorts of activities, such as Book-Alike Casting Call. A gag we will record interview character look-a-likes from different books and fan requested books, as the actual character. I am so ecstatic about this segment!
I also love to browse the Kindle app for free books to keep me engaged with reading as I am waiting for a new book, and love to rate and do reviews for books that don’t seem to have any feedback yet. You won’t believe the gems I find in there for free! Keep an eye over here on my page to see what sort of buried treasure I find =)
On this blog, however, will be my personal thoughts and reviews as I am reading a book. A lot of my stuff you can find on Goodreads.com, but I will be sure to post some here and there. Also, if you are an author and looking for people to review your books and spread the word, I am always up for it! I have had several books mailed to me to be reviewed and have found it to be quite a thrilling hobby. Inbox me for my contact information. =)
I can also be reached on the following Sites for anyone interested in joining my friend Krystle and I on our bookly adventures:
Other than that, I am greatly thankful for all those who stick with me as I read =D
